Amandine Tshijanu Ngindu, known professionally as Mamu Tshi, is a dancer, choreographer and lecturer of Congolese origin, now based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Renowned for her excellence in krump, Mamu Tshi was named "Dancer of the Year" in 2020 for her talent in this powerful, expressive and liberating urban dance.

Mamu Tshi's art integrates urban dance traditions with theatrical contexts. Since her debut at Théâtre Sévelin 36 in 2019, she has taken part in projects such as Portraits in Otherness series commissioned by the Akram Khan Company and presented her acclaimed work L’Héritière (2022) across Switzerland. Her latest co-creation with choreographer Faustin Linyekula Portrait pour Amandine  a solo combining dance and theater, explores her Congolese roots. This piece has been presented throughout Europe, including at the Théâtre de Vidy (Lausanne) and the Théâtre National de Chaillot (Paris) in 2023 and 2024.

In addition to her performances and choreography, Mamu Tshi is also the founder of Like A Woman, a platform dedicated to enhancing the female experience and creating opportunities for women in krump. This initiative provides a space for women to explore, express and share their unique voices, while challenging norms and fostering a dynamic and supportive community.

Driven by a deep desire to facilitate trance and transmission, Mamu Tshi advocates the integration of urban and underground art forms into the mainstream. Inspired by her childhood memories of family dances and collective energy, she emphasizes the transformative power of movement and community in her creations and workshops, cultivating a spirit of connection, presence and shared storytelling in the circle..

In 2026, she will create Love Under, a duo on the issue of social and identity pressures.
