MORGANE POULETTE
With working class, a part of the spirit of rock and roll goes to the grave.
Thibault Fayner
Morgane Poulette is composed of two different eras : The camp of the unfortunate ones retraces the story of Morgane, a junkie singer, and Thomas, a soap actor, In a London where glamour and poor neighborhoods live side by side. The Londoner tells Morgane's grief when Thomas dies, and how her grief reflects in London, in a world that's collapsing, where intimate anger becomes political. Two distinct parts,: one is more like a performance, directly addressed to the audience, the other is pictorial, where water cleans and brings back to life, performed by the intense Pearl Manifold.
