We eat animals and we love them tenderly. The paradox does not shock, our bodies are made from the same matter as the ham from our sandwiches. Requiem for a piece of meat is a musical, plastic and choreographic mass of the dead in the honor of the animal. In front of a nature of theatre – painted canvas forest – seven pictures, like a classical requiem, mixing dancing bodies and live animals in the singings and the melodies interpreted by the novantik project basel music ensemble.
